The PPGSA invites all teachers to participate in the lecture, a pre-event for the 1st SEMINAR ON AFFIRMATIVE POLICIES AT THE PPGSA, to be given by Professor Aline da Fonseca, from CEFET/RJ, to be held on October 30th, at 3:00 p.m., in room 17 of the PPGSA.

The event is a joint action with the Teaching, Research and Extension Project focused on Territorial Management, Cultural Rights and Development in Quilombola Communities, at the PPGSND of UFOPA, coordinated by Professor Dr. Luciana Gonçalves.

The lecture is entitled "Law 10.639/03: Advances and Contradictions in the Fight for Anti-Racist Education" and proposes an analysis of the challenges and achievements in the construction of a broader and fairer education. We will critically reflect on the paths taken since the enactment of the Law, analyzing both the advances achieved and the contradictions that persist. This is an invitation for us to think together about how we can build an education that truly respects and values ​​the cultural and ethnic diversity of our country.
